Stride listens in on your walk, then summarizes your words without changing them.
Have a look
Why walk
Somewhere between the front door and the corner shop, with nothing to look at and nobody to perform for, the thing you have been circling all morning usually says itself out loud, in a plainer way than you would ever have written it down.
Stride walks with you, listening, and remembers the whole of it.
How it works
Recording unlocks once you are actually moving, which is on purpose, because the walking is half of why any of this works. Stride waits for the first few steps and then comes along.
Ramble, double back, repeat yourself, change your mind halfway through a sentence and start it again, because that is what thinking out loud genuinely sounds like, and it is what Stride was built to listen to.
What you landed on, what you said you would do, and what you are still chewing on, all written in the words you actually used, with no advice, no score, and nothing you did not say.
Sun and moon
A walk at eight in the morning isn't the same as a walk at ten at night. Stride is warm and bright in daylight, then goes quiet and dark after sunset, with clouds drifting past by day and stars overhead in the evening.
This page does the same thing. It reads the clock where you are, so what you are looking at right now is whichever one matches the hour.
Yours only
The listening and the writing up both happen on the phone in your pocket, so there is nowhere else for any of it to be, and that is the whole reason it stays safe to say what you actually think out there.
Have a proper moan about a client. It stays between you and the pavement.
Rehearse the thing out loud on the walk, whether that's a pitch, an interview answer, or the conversation you've been dreading. Stride follows how you're speaking as the weeks go by: your pace, your pauses, the words you lean on. Numbers, never a grade. It's being built now.
